Social Security Number Search

Provides up-to-date information on an applicant’s past addresses and movement patterns based on name and social security number (SSN). In addition to verifying and returning information on a SSN, Person Search provides a report with the following: full name and/or alternate names used by an applicant, dates at listed addresses, age/date of birth, and available phone information. Person Search is an investigative starting point that provides a more complete background search when combined with additional screening services.

Employment Credit Report

Credit reports can be a valuable tool for assessing applicants who may occupy a position where business needs dictate a history of financial responsibility. An Employment Credit Report differs from a traditional credit report, in that it is tailored for use in an employment situation. For example, it does not include account numbers, nor does the “pull” count against the applicant’s credit score.

TransUnion PEER® (Pre-Employment Evaluation Report) – The PEER Report from TransUnion gives you a completely unbiased account of a potential candidate’s financial background information. It helps you assess the candidate’s financial responsibility by showing a complete credit history. PEER traces the person’s credit history. PEER can then help you identify those applicants who are potentially financially overextended or on the brink of problems that could adversely affect their performance on the job. See our Employment Credit Report Product Sheet to which laws apply to your business. An additional application is required and one-time site inspection fee mandated by all Credit Bureaus to verify your business is $75.00 which covers the cost of an onsite inspector.

Employee or Professional Reference Check

Our standard employment reference investigation covers all the bases, if you will want to ask a particular question just ask us. This investigation is highly recommended. If you would prefer us to contact the Human Resource Department rather than a former supervisor, we’ll try both or your preference. HR Departments will normally not comment on specific job performance.
